In an article published 22 February 2018 in “Aging & Mental Health” an independent study by academics from Monash University and Australian Catholic University concludes that “the GAI was the most consistently reliable and valid measure for screening for GAD” out of the three commonly used measures they evaluated to determine an appropriate anxiety screening tool for aged care settings.
